Working
An engraving looks like this :
Engraving is put on an item, and depends entirely on the gems it has in common with what the engraving requires. The rarity of the gem is also a factor.
For example, let’s take this same engraving pictured here :
Let’s break down the elements received by this engraving below :
We have a level 2 upgrade system; to upgrade a level, the engraving must be in symbiosis with the item, which has many Magic Armor gem slots.
The higher the stats of the Magic Armor gems, the greater the enhancement.
In my example with the totem, the level increases to 2 with the stats mentioned. I’ll need to increase my magic armor gems to get to level 3.
Now, let’s talk about the color of the engraving. This engraving is not the right example to mention its rarity in its accuracy. Take this one:
In red, there are different colors, depending on the rarity group on the item. For example, let’s take our totem :
In order for the engraving’s rarity to be significant, all the gems embedded in the item must be of the highest rarity. For instance, on the totem, all the gems are red, meaning the engraving’s rarity is marked as red. If a gemstone is removed, its absence will be counted as gray.
By the way, it’s worth mentioning that, depending on the rarity of the engraving, it gives a consequent and regular bonus on the fighter.
To conclude the understanding of the operation with the second engraving shared with another item :
The gem enhancement is at level 3 thanks to the damage gems encrusted in the item.
As you can see, I have yellow gems on the item, but the lowest rarity gemmed on the item is red, so the engraving takes on the red color.
The system mentioned in this explanation applies to all engravings.
